Washington Monument

This is the Washington monument in Washington D.C. The white stone of the monument and the blue sky were just amazing when I took this picture.

While they are not at their peak yet they were quite beautiful. If you decide to visit D.C. during the cherry blossom time go early, otherwise you may not really enjoy it--too many people!! This picture above is from the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_D._Roosevelt">Franklin Delano Roosevelt</a> memorial which is right by the tidal basin and all the cherry blossoms hence the reason I was able to get this cool picture.
